Disaster Relief

Fellowship Church is committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus through prayer, service, and giving, as we come together to provide relief and hope to those impacted by Hurricane Helene.

As we receive reports of the devastation in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, our team has responded by pulling together ways that we can be the church and find meaningful and impactful ways for us to provide assistance. We invite you to be a blessing by meeting the vast number of needs coming from the devastation impacting individuals, families, and homes throughout surrounding communities.

1. Let's trust in the power of prayer.

Pray for everyone impacted and those who are suffering and need assistance. God is our restorer and redeemer – so we begin with prayer – believing that needs will be met and God will provide the means to rebuild. Pray for those impacted to see God as their comforter and hope in these difficult days and weeks.

2. As the church, we are blessed to be a blessing.

We are partnering with great faith-based organizations who are making a difference within our communities! Here are 3 ways you can get started in serving those impacted by the storm:

On the Ground Needs

Disaster relief & food

Serve weekend opportunities

If you know someone who is in need, we encourage you to be the church! Gather your friends or small group and go serve together. If God has opened a door for you to serve someone, then go and be the hands and feet of Jesus – by being a blessing to your neighbor.

3. We set up a relief fund to meet near-term and future needs.

We set up a fund that allows us to respond to disaster related needs and expand the budget for Serve Weekend. By giving generously to this fund we can respond to our neighbors in need and love them in Jesus’ name!
