Christmas tends to feel both magical and overwhelming, and Jesus can get crowded out in the noise. Pastor Daniel looks at the Magi in Matthew 2 and contrasts their response to Jesus with King Herod’s. Herod fights for control, but the Magi travel hundreds of miles because they actually want to find the real king. They remind us that making room for Jesus looks like seeking him, finding joy in his presence, giving our best, and letting him redirect our lives.
