You don’t just go to church, you get to belong to one. In Romans 8, Paul shows us that following Jesus means being adopted into God’s family. Adoption changes everything, it means we have a Father who wants us, freedom from fear, and a family to walk with. Just like adoption shifts someone’s identity and future, God’s adoption gives us security, belonging, and purpose. We’re not slaves to fear anymore, we’re beloved sons and daughters with a full inheritance. The church is more than Sunday, it’s brothers and sisters encouraging, forgiving, and carrying one another’s burdens.
